With the Mio dog basket you can bring unique design to your home or terrace.

In his design, designer Shigeo Mashiro gave special emphasis to a soft shape combined with a robust material. The result is a curved body with an asymmetrically positioned recess that serves as an entry point and a comfortable head and footrest.

The Mio dog basket impresses with its particularly robust material, which allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the aluminium frame, the Mio dog basket is relatively lightweight, making it possible to change position at any time. The rope mesh is resistant to light and weather conditions and is therefore perfectly suitable for outdoor use. The firm and water-repellent layer ensures optimal comfort. The removable, washable cover is also available separately.

Body

If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth. The rope netting made of polypropylene can be washed off with water.

Mattress

The mattress is machine washable at 40°. Please avoid bleaching and aggressive washing additives. After washing, leave the mattress to air dry on a rack, please do not put it in the dryer.

Cover and mattress are water-repellent but not waterproof due to the seams, so please bring the cushion into the dry in case of heavy or continuous rain.

Cover

The cover is machine washable at max. 40 ° C (gentle cycle). After washing, let the cover air-dry on a rack – do not put it in the tumble dryer. If needed, iron the fabric on a low setting suitable for synthetics without steam.

The water-repellent and lightfast fabric is easy to care for and abrasion-resistant, so you can remove stains, dirt and dust with a cloth or with an upholstery brush on your hoover. Please remove stains immediately before they can penetrate deeper into the fabric.

For long durability, we recommend not to leave the cushion as well as the body outdoors in rain and humidity, but to store it in protected and dry rooms.
